About
Well, phooey. I decided to change my “About” page. I decided it was too inwardly focused and not deep enough. So here goes.
First, I am a Christian. That one word probably sums up the most important aspect of my life. Perhaps you think you know what a Christian is, and perhaps you have no idea. I have trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe that He died on a cross to take away the sins of the world, for me, for you, for everyone. I believe I can do anything through Him who strengthens me. I also believe He commands us to reach out to help hurting people. I believe that should be the main focus of any Christian. To reach out to those that are hurting and to share with them the love of Christ. Too many times we become inwardly focused and lose sight of our neighbors.
So if you’ve stumbled onto this blog and wonder who I am, this is who I am. I am a servant of Christ and His love to you, me, everyone.
The next most important thing in my life is my wife and 3 children. I have been happily married for several years to my high school sweetheart, Teresa. We have 3 wonderful children, Zachary, Megan and Joshua. God has blessed us beyond belief and everyday I stop to give thanks.
If you are a Christian, here is something to hang your hat on: Romans 8:38-39
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Maybe if I’d read your “about” page I wouldn’t have made that major gaff yesterday! Note to self–watch out for those assumptions!
Pax! ht
PS Glad it gave your wife a laugh anyway!

Hey,
I thought you might be interested in this…I am the Web Director for a blog called Teen Sex Today (http://www.teensextoday.com). The blog is written by Professor George, a devout Christian. As a doctor, he has talked to way too many teens who are downright angry at the rotten sex advice they’ve heard from adults. Hey, most adults give teens hardly any helpful information about sex in the first place. And then when so-called “experts” step forward to give sex advice, much of it is just flat wrong! Illogical and unscientific sex information can be found all over the Internet, on TV and radio, and even school books. Not only is this totally unfair, but Professor George had teen patients who have been physically and emotionally damaged by following the misleading advice from adults that teens expect to have the right answer.
Teens deserve better! You want straight talk and straight facts from a real expert who really cares about what’s best for teens. Not only has Professor George successfully raised a bunch of teenagers into adulthood as a father, but as a clinical psychologist, he has spent many years counseling teenagers about their questions about sex. And as a university professor for many years, he has been teaching medical students, psychology students, and psychiatry trainees on how they can help teens with sexual issues. Not only that, but he has written dozens of psychology articles and many books dealing with teen sex. You can learn more about Professor George at his website, ProfessorGeorge.com
After seeing your blog, I thought this might be something you are interested in and possibly link to.
Have a blessed day,
Mark

Mark,
Well, I was a bit concerned when I saw this post. I wondered if it might be a hoax based on the URL that you gave. Well, after poking around a bit, it seems legit, but before I add it as a link, I want to do some more research.
I truly wish the address wasn’t what it is though. Sounds too much like a pornography site LOL. Why couldn’t it have been a .ORG or .EDU address?? LOL
Thanks for sharing this information!
Chris
